Paul lobby's against the Health Department
The purpose of the visit was to lobby the Health Department to reverse the removal of perioperative allergy testing item number 21981 and the restrictions on the cardiopulmonary exercise testing item number.
Paul McAleer (3rd from right) attended a meeting at the Health Department in Canberra yesterday as Chair of ANZAAG. The delegation, organised by the ASA, included the ASA President Dr Peter Seal, ASA Immediate Past President A/Prof David M Scott, Anaesthesia Director of The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Prof Bernhard Riedel, A/Prof Andre La Gerche from the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and Paul.
